MAXIMUS had an early impact of funk, gospel, and jazz.  But throughout middle and high school gained great interest and respect for classical music, which he claims helped "refine" his raw talent.  This talent, maybe raw, but still got the attention of Seattle area hip-hop producers John Silva (Kurupt, Daz, Joe Budden) and Jake-One (Drake, Wale, Rick Ross).  Spending countess hours laying piano parts , and brightening up tracks with strings and synths.  These collaborations would enable MAXIMUS to appear on tracks with some of the hottest artist in music.  He along with band mates Benji Demps and Noe Rodriguez make up the group "NSB". A modern trio, with an R&B sound infused with melodic melodies.
